Tampa, FL — On the heels of its ongoing growth as a leading provider of innovative medical cost management solutions for the workers’ compensation industry, Healthesystems LLC (Healthesystems) recently completed a major expansion of the company’s Tampa, FL, corporate headquarters.
Healthesystems’ expansion increased its corporate office space by more than 30 percent, adding 10,000 additional square feet. Among many key features, the expansion includes the addition of some new, cutting-edge conference rooms for collaborative team meetings, but most of all, the project consolidates the company’s powerful technology resources and professional staff into a single location, giving Healthesystems (Healthesystems.com) even more quality control for clients. In addition the new space is boosting the infrastructure of its Network Operations Center (NOC). Healthesystems’ headquarters are located in the Centrepointe building in Tampa’s Westshore Business District.
“This latest expansion results directly from our pharmacy program’s successful growth in addition to the extremely positive response our Ancillary Benefits Management [ABM] program is having in the marketplace,” says Daryl Corr, Healthesystems President. “The ABM program, which is unique to the industry, has been in production for more than two years, and the interest and resulting growth in the product has been very strong.” In short, our ABM program is an industry unique and proprietary platform Healthesystems created for prospectively managing and adjudicating ancillary medical services, including durable medical equipment, home health, transportation and other services.
Corr says that as further evidence of the company’s consistent upward trajectory in supporting the workers’ compensation industry, this marks the second Tampa corporate HQ expansion in two years, in addition to opening a new customer service facility in Scottsdale, AZ in 2009.
A major portion of Healthesystems’ internal growth continues to be in its Information Technology (IT) staff, software development resources and professionals dedicated to quality review and audit, Corr explains. In addition, the move expands the company’s “client facing” departments, which provide primary customer support. With this expansion, as noted, Healthesystems also doubled the size of its existing NOC, which means it has expanded and improved its network and applications monitoring infrastructure.
“For us, the increased space is a critical aspect of our business growth strategy,” says Corr, adding that it allows Healthesystems to better serve clients by expanding and reinforcing its infrastructure.
“In the end, consolidating some of our key department into one location will help us collaborate better on other new development initiatives and provide our clients with the best possible products and service,” he says. “The additional infrastructure and space will help as we continue to build on our ongoing success. In fact, even with this latest expansion, we are already seeing the opportunity for additional growth and expansion in the short-term. We are always striving to reach our market potential.”
